I booked La Piazzetta as they had room for 12 of us without having to pay a deposit or the need to pre-order. Ours was a family group ranging in age from 35 to 87. We all enjoyed our food and were very impressed with the service. The restaurant is set in a lovely building and the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us - we all said we’d definitely be back. Thanks for a really enjoyable evening.

Delicious meal and wine! Wonderful service! Fabulous atmosphere and ambiance! Would suggest booking as very popular and busy. Really super evenings! Tom the manager is so attentive and accommodating to my partners limited diet. The food is fresh, tasty and very good value for money for the quality of food. A total favourite of ours, eaten here a number of times now and would strongly recommend this awesome Italian restaurant.

I’m a loyal customer of this place I use now for years since they open … I just want to say that if u looking for a good time in an authentic Italian restaurant this is the place … chef Claudio and his team are great all fresh ingredients are used to prepare the amazing meals they do taste and good time are two things that can’t missed in this place …. Obviously can’t not mention manager Tom a great person with a lot of experience and always a smile ready to contagious others and put them in a good mood …. Keep doing what u doing guys well done

Fantastic Family Meal

Our family visited today for a late lunch for a family birthday as this one of our favourite restaurants in the town. The service was exceptional as always and the staff were great with our children, our 7 year old was over the moon with the lolly our server found. Ruins her ear! We had a few starters to share and then a mix of pastas and pizzas between the 7 of us, the food could not be faulted! We have always had lovely meals here and we will definitely return again!

Hidden gem

On the hop I visited this restaurant at lunchtime with my daughter. It was the 2 course lunch for £9.99 that drew us in :). (my daughter actually thought the number 1 had been rubbed off the board as she couldn't believe it was so cheap)! From the outside it looked rather dark and we could not see if it was open but I was pleased we opened the door and sat down at a comfortable table. The place catered for veggies so my daughter was pleased. I had the bruschetta with dried tomatoes etc and tagliatelle which was absolutely delicious, freshly cooked and so tasty. The main menu had lots of choice, I have already recommended this place to my family and friends.
